2011 was the Shakerz first run in the event and will sure to be back in 2012. The SDJBTS held at the San Diego Polo Club, is perhaps the finest venue the Shakerz have visited for a lax tournament. Designed for polo, teams were treated to well manicured grass fields, plenty of space, set against the picturesque landscape of southern California. The Men’s Post Collegiate Club Division is made up of 12 of the west coast’s finest programs. When not on the fields, hit up the beach for some surf then out on the town in downtown San Diego or Pacific Beach.
2011 brings the 14th installment of this annual event. The Men’s Elite division features 18 teams typically from the Maryland, DC and Virginia markets. After a month long break from the summer tourney season, Laxtoberfest has been a huge draw for the laxer ready to get back on the field.
The Shakerz will be headed back to defend their 2010 championship at LaxVegas. An amazing event with quality west coast laxers in Sin City! The Men’s Open division features 12 teams predominantly from the West Coast. The event is run by Vitality lacrosse, a network of leagues, camps, clinics, travel teams, and tournaments for every lacrosse player. Their universal vision is to share their passion for the sport o and help it grow on every level.
You've seen the boys in pink travelling all over the country. Now we're inviting you to our home in New York City. What better way to begin the summer tournament season than in NYC, home of the Salt Shakerz. The tournament will feature an Adult Men's Elite Division broken down into 4 boroughs for a total of 16 teams. Teams from California and the whole east coast will be represented. The event will also feature exhibition games between four of NYC's talented U-13 youth programs. A portion of tourney proceeds will benefit the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
The first major stop on the Shakerz tourney circuit every year! This one is a no brainer… South Beach, sun, and plenty of competitive lacrosse... The Men’s Open division features 12 teams from all over the U.S. looking to get away from the winter season. At night, an exciting schedule of events is planned for everyone's entertainment at some of South Beach Miami's best nightspots.
Glastonbury will be a new event for the Shakerz in 2011 although many on the current roster have played in the event with other clubs. The competition is divided into three competitive ten team divisions, comprised of teams from everywhere! This event is a "players' tournament," with many groups formed with some of the top collegiate and post graduate players around. These guys play for the love of the game. The tournament dates back to the late 1980's, with benefits going towards The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and The Glastonbury Lacrosse Club (Youth)
FMLA and the Freemason Tyrian Lodge 205 are hosting the first Freemason Lacrosse Tournament to raise money for a scholarship for a Frederick County student. The Shakerz will be participating as one of the 12 Men’s Open Teams with an expected competitive field. Aside from the lax, the off field activities including downtown Fredrick, Maryland have the Shakerz excited to see what the tournament is all about.
2011 brings the 17th installment of this annual event. The Men’s Elite division will be limited to 40 teams and competition will be top notch. The OC Lax Classic is a major stop on the Shakerz tourney circuit. Not to mention, Ocean City offers something for everyone… 10 miles of beach, nightlife, fishing and fine dining.
